Detail
How it works
The part of the job that decides whether the shoot day works. Concept, script, board, cast, locations, schedule, logistics.
Creative development
Objective first, idea second. We define who the work is for, what it has to do, and where it will be seen — then build the concept that fits those constraints instead of an idea that has to be defended afterwards.
Logistics
Call sheets, schedules, permits, crew bookings, gear lists, travel, catering and contingency. A production plan is a document, not a conversation.
Risk removed early
Weather alternates, backup locations, second-choice talent and clear decision deadlines are set in advance, because the expensive version of a problem is the one discovered on the shoot day.
Typical deliverables
- Creative brief and concept deck
- Script and shooting board
- Location options with scout photography
- Casting shortlist and coordination
- Full production schedule and call sheets
- Line-item budget
FAQ
Questions we get asked.
Yes. Pre-production is booked as a standalone engagement, including for productions that will be shot by another crew.
Because it is where the money is actually saved. Decisions made on paper cost a fraction of the same decisions made with a crew standing on set.
